Welcome
to the Reedsburg Industrial Park
The City of Reedsburg and its Industrial Development Commission has
a long history of accommodating business and industry. We have recently
added 60 acres of land to the Industrial Park for the expansion of industry.
Highlights
of the Industrial Park are:

Location:
The Reedsburg Industrial Park is located south of State Highway 23/33
or Main Street in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. The principal access to the
industrial park is via S. Dewey Street. The newest area is on S. Dewey
Street, across the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad tracks.
Acreage
Available: The industrial area consists of 50 acres that
is divisible in tracts ranging from 2-30 acres.
Land
Prices: Parcels are priced at $10,000 per acre. Depending
upon the value of the investment, quality of the jobs created and other
criteria the Industrial Development Commission may provide assistance
to offset the purchase price and other development or start-up costs.
Tax
Increment District Financing:
The newest part of the Industrial Park is in TIF District #3 that was
created in 1998. Use of TIF district financing allows the City to install
curb, gutter, streets, water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and other
utilities to the site at no cost to the developer.
Assistance
to the business may take the form of Industrial Revenue Bonds, sponsorship
of state development grants or compensation for site preparation costs,
relocation or training of new employees.
Zoning:
The land is zoned I-2 for Heavy Industrial Uses. Performance standards
insure compatibility between uses.

Buildings:
The Reedsburg Industrial Park may have existing buildings for sale.

- Parcels range from 0.8 acres to 23 acres.
- Parcels are priced at $10,000 per acre and are negotiable based upon the investment made and the quality of the jobs created.
- All utilities are provided to the property line (water, sewer, storm sewer, electricity, telephone and optic fiber cable) without additional assessment to the property owner.
- The area abuts the main line of the Union Pacific Railroad. A spur line is proposed to be built into this area of the industrial park. The line is operated by the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad.
- Zoning is 1-2 for Heavy Industrial. Copies of the performance standards are available upon request.
